The Steinbach Pistons traveled to Winnipeg to take on the Winnipeg South Blues on Tuesday night and built a 3-2 lead after 2 periods. The Blues had a big 3rd period, though, outshooting the Pistons 17-4 and ultimately winning 5-3.
There was no score after the 1st period, and Brendan O'Donnell opened the scoring for the Blues 2:49 into the 2nd on the powerplay. At the 7:25 mark Mike Collins tied the game for the Pistons, assisted by Connor Sisson and Cam Hildebrand. The Pistons would regain their lead just 22 seconds after that, at the 17:31 mark, when Dylan Friend scored, assisted by Jace Baldwin.
The Pistons wouldn't be able to hold on to the lead for long in the 3rd period, however. Evan Gravenor score 4:55 into the 3rd to tie the game at 3. With only 3:36 remaining in the game Conor Stephenson would score the game winner for the Blues. Stephenson added an empty netter with 43 seconds to go to make it 5-3.

The Pistons are right back at it on Wednesday when they play the Winnipeg Saints in Steinbach at 8:00.
