Pistons lose close one to Neepawa

The Steinbach Pistons lost a close, low-scoring game 2-1 to the Neepawa Natives on Wednesday night in Steinbach.

The Pistons scored their lone goal early. Mike Gemmill scored just 25 seconds into the game, assisted by Eric Coulombe and Josh Rutherford. 12 minutes later the Natives tied the game when their leading scorer Dusty Campbell scored.

Jordan Lane scored the game winning goal for the Natives 13:43 into the 2nd period. There would be no more scoring for the rest of the game as both goalies played well.
