The Steinbach Pistons along with Gold-N-Memories recognized G Matthew Thiessen as their Player of the Month for November.
Thiessen has had an excellent start to his rookie season in the MJHL, posting a 14-2-0 record in 17 starts, and has a 2.08 GAA which leads all MJHL goaltenders. He sits in 2nd place with a .924 save percentage.
Thiessen has also recently committed to the University of Maine Black Bears of NCAA Division I hockey.
Thiessen was presented the award during last Saturday’s game against the OCN Blizzard by Gold-N-Memories representative Andy Schinkel.
