20-Year-Old Thank You – Matt Osadick

The Pistons organization would like to sincerely thank forward Matt Osadick for his contributions to the team in his brief tenure.

Osadick gave the Pistons fits early on in his MJHL career with the Swan Valley Stampeders before heading off to the BCHL. The Pistons were able to acquire him from the Salmon Arm Silverbacks in the summer of 2019.

Osadick led the Pistons and the MJHL with 4 power play goals and 6 power play points. In 8 games played this season, the Maine commit put up 6 goals and 4 assists for 10 points. In his short time in Steinbach, Matt was able to continue to put up points using his dynamic speed and hard shot.

“Matt is a player that was exciting to watch as his explosiveness was second to none in our league,“ Paul Dyck said of Osadick. “We were looking forward to him being one of the guys that would help us navigate our way into contention for a league title. He has a great release and has the ability to control the game when he is on the ice. Unfortunately, we only saw Matt for seven full games this year. Our fans would’ve been big fans of his by this time of the season.”

Thank you Matt, we wish you and your family all the best going forward. Good luck at the University of Maine next season!
