2019-20 Most Improved Player: Tucker Hodgson

This season’s Most Improved Player is defenceman Tucker Hodgson.

The 18-year-old rookie from Grand Forks made a big impression on the Pistons coaching staff in training camp, and continued to work diligently on his game as the season wore on.

Hodgson dressed in 51 games for Steinbach this season, notching 9 assists while playing regularly with veteran defence partner Dylan Cassie. He also put up 2 assists in three postseason games against the Winnipeg Blues.

Hodgson was also recognized as one of the top 18 and under players in the league this year, as he was selected to participate at the 2020 MJHL/SJHL Showcase in Regina with the lone 18U MJHL squad.

Congratulations to Tucker Hodgson on receiving the 2019-20 Pistons Most Improved Player award!
