The Pistons are currently on the lookout for families to billet Pistons players for this upcoming 2018-19 season.
Players often come to Steinbach from all across North America, looking for a stable home during the hockey season. Some of these players are leaving home for the first time as they are looking to advance to the next level, both in hockey and in education.
A billet family plays a vital role in helping players feel like they are at home while they pursue their hockey dreams.
Pistons Billet Coordinator Janice Fender will help guide billet families every step of the way, and is there to provide details and to support the families to help with an enjoyable experience.
There are many perks to becoming a Steinbach Pistons billet. The Pistons will provide the family with two season tickets for both the regular season and playoffs. The team will provide a billet cheque of $315/month, or a $350 Sobey’s gift card every month as an alternative to offset the cost of hosting Pistons players.
Billets will also be recognized at Pistons games throughout the season and will receive a delivery of meat from Earl’s Meat Market, the official butcher of the Pistons, to help with the game day meals throughout the season.
