Connor Paronuzzi Named Pistons’ RBC Community Ambassador

The Steinbach Pistons and the Manitoba Junior Hockey League are proud to congratulate forward Connor Paronuzzi on being named the Pistons’ 2024 RBC Community Ambassador.

RBC Community Ambassadors are recognized for making a difference and giving back to their communities where they play.

Connor is in his second year with the Pistons and his second year connecting with Seniors by volunteering at the Pat Porter Active Living Centre in Steinbach. The connections made at this centre have been extremely beneficial for both the seniors and the players. Connor has become so connected there, that he will sometimes drop by the centre on his days off or even game day mornings because he doesn’t want to miss out on a particular activity. In junior hockey, more times than not, players are connecting with kids through minor hockey or in schools but this connection with seniors has provided a different perspective to Connor and our players that has helped them grow as individuals off the ice.

At the conclusion of the regular season, one RBC – MJHL Community Ambassador will be named as the recipient of the RBC Community Award, which comes with a further donation from RBC in the player’s name to a school in their local community.
