The Steinbach Pistons along with Gold-N-Memories selected D Darby Gula as their Player of the Month for September and October.
The 3rd year Pistons defenceman has had a breakthrough season thus far for his hometown club, registering 26 points in 21 games. He leads all MJHL defencemen in scoring, and sits in 9th amongst the leading MJHL scorers. He was chosen at the beginning of the season to serve as one of the team’s alternate captains.
Gula has also recently committed to playing for the Bemidji State University Beavers, a NCAA Division I school, for the 2018/19 season.
Gula was presented the award on the ice by Gold-N-Memories representative Andy Schinkel.
