The Steinbach Pistons have acquired D Doug Johnson (’98) from the Flin Flon Bombers of the SJHL in exchange for Future Considerations.
The 6’2”, 20-year-old defenceman is from Darien, Conneticut and has tallied four assists in 25 games played this season with Flin Flon. He notched one goal and three assists in only 26 games with the Bombers in the 2017-18 season.
“Doug is a big body that brings toughness and maturity to our back end,” Head Coach and GM Paul Dyck said of Johnson. “He keeps his game simple, moves pucks, and will be a good addition to our dressing room.”
