The Steinbach Pistons have acquired F Boedey Vaeth (’98) from the Swan Valley Stampeders in exchange for Future Considerations.
The 20-year-old forward from Lorette, MB has spent his junior career with the Stamps, but missed the majority of last season due to injuries throughout the year.
Vaeth scored 12 points in 55 games with Swan Valley in the 2016-17 season. Head Coach and GM Paul Dyck is looking forward to having the veteran forward in the lineup this season.
“Boedey adds speed and experience to our lineup,” Dyck said. “We feel he will bring versatility to our team, and he’s someone that fits our culture.”
Vaeth will likely be in the lineup for the Pistons this weekend when they take on the Selkirk Steelers.
