Pistons Acquire G Anderson from Neepawa

The Steinbach Pistons have acquired goalie Nik Anderson (’99) from the Neepawa Natives in exchange for Future Considerations.

Anderson is entering his third and final season of junior hockey and has spent the past two seasons with the Natives and the SJHL’s Flin Flon Bombers. In 27 GP last season, he posted a .874 SV% with a 4.71 GAA.

Nik is the younger brother of former Pistons defenceman Tyler Anderson, who spent two seasons in Steinbach and is now playing for the St. Cloud State University Huskies of NCAA Division I.

Anderson will join Matt Lenz to make up the Pistons’ goalie tandem for the 2019/20 season.

The organization would like to welcome Nik and his family to the Pistons community!
