The Steinbach Pistons donated a total of $2,700 towards cancer research this past Tuesday morning.
Forwards Tanner Mole and Codey Behun along with Head Coach/General Manager Paul Dyck presented the cheque to Colette Toews of the Canadian Cancer Society.
The money was raised through two fundraising initiatives; the first being a jersey auction for the Pistons’ special edition Movember jerseys, and the second was part of the proceeds from 50/50 ticket sales during the month.
The Pistons would like to thank everyone who donated to their cause as we continue to fight the battle against cancer.
