Pistons’ Goodbrandson and Wruck Highlighted For Their Dominant Starts To The Season

The Steinbach Pistons are proud to share that the MJHL has named Eduard Wruck as the league’s defenseman of the month for September and Nate Goodbrandson as a star of the week.

Through the first 4 games, the 19 year old defenseman from North Vancouver, recorded 2 goals and 5 assists versus the Selkirk Steelers. Wruck continues to play with great level of confidence, showing he is not afraid to jump in the rush and help his team get on the board.

Pistons forward Nate Goodbrandson has had a hot start to the Month of October as he was named a Recycle Everywhere star of the week. The St. Andrews, Manitoba product had a total of 3 goals and 4 assist in 2 games against the Winkler Flyers last weekend.  He, along with line mates Quinton Pepper and Davis Fry, had a combined 17 points through those same two contests. It will be exciting to watch this line continue to build chemistry and find success on the ice as the season goes on.

Congratulations to Eduard and Nate on their recent play, keep up the hard work!
