This Friday will be a special night at the TG Smith Centre, as the Steinbach Pistons will host their annual Cancer Care Night presented by Clearview Co-op when they host the Waywayseecappo Wolverines at 7:30 pm.
It’s one of the best nights on the Pistons’ schedule, as the team will be wearing special edition ‘Movember’ jerseys during the game. Those will be auctioned off after the game, with proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society. You will be able to bid on these jerseys during the game, even if you can’t make it to the TG Smith.
Clearview Co-op will be partnering with the Pistons on those jerseys, and they also be handing out their brand-new Co-operative coffee blend for the first time in Steinbach.
There will also be a pre-game ceremony honoring a cancer survivor and some special guests that will be singing the national anthem. Fans are also encouraged to wear any pink or purple, or past or present Pistons Cancer Care jerseys in support of the cause!
