Pistons Looking for More Volunteers

The Steinbach Pistons are looking for more volunteers to help on game days with the production crew for the rest of the season.

The Pistons along with the City of Steinbach installed a new LED screen at the beginning of January, and are looking for those who are interested in seeing how it works. The club is specifically looking for photographers, camera, switchboard, and instant replay operators, and welcome those with graphics experience. If you have a passion for filming, love watching hockey on TV, and you love the Pistons, this is an opportunity that you can’t pass up.

“Our new screen adds a unique and exciting element that will make game days much more exciting in Steinbach,” said Kevin Geisheimer, Director of Business and Marketing Operations with the Pistons.

The club is also looking for additional volunteers to help run music and PA announcers as well.

“We have amazing fans that help make the TG Smith Centre a great atmosphere to play in, and this screen will take us to the next level,” Geisheimer continued. “We have an incredibly dedicated and committed group of volunteers, and they help us make Steinbach a great place to play Junior A Hockey in Canada.”

If you have any questions or interest in helping the Pistons out in this way, contact Geisheimer at 204-371-1951, or email [email protected].
