Pistons participate in community Rake ‘N Run

The Steinbach Pistons’ players and coaches took part in a Rake ‘N Run last Tuesday as part of their Fall clean-up initiative.

Each player and Head Coach Paul Dyck went out and raked 5 yards full of leaves for those who could not rake their own leaves.

With all of the manpower available, each yard took about fifteen to twenty minutes, as opposed to the hours one person might spend raking their own yard.

“The guys did a good job,” Pistons chaplain Mike Kehler noted. “Now they have a new appreciation for doing yard work and raking leaves!”

Each person or couple came outside to thank the Pistons for their help and hard work.
