Pistons Protect Paisley Ahead of MJHL Draft

The Pistons have auto-protected Steinbach native and forward Ty Paisley (’04) ahead of the 2019 MJHL Bantam Draft this Sunday.

Paisley spent this season with the Rink Hockey Academy Bantam Prep team, where he put up 12 goals and 11 assists in 29 regular season games and notched 2 goals and an assist in three playoff outings for RHA.

Ty is the younger brother of forward Caleb Paisley, who spent the second half of the season with the Pistons after being acquired at the trade deadline.

He stands 6’0” and weighs in at 155 pounds. “We are excited to be able to add Ty through the auto-protect process, and would like to welcome him to our organization,” Head Coach/GM Paul Dyck said of Paisley. “Ty is a player with a lot of upside. He has very good size and a good skill package, and we will be following his development this season as he plays for the RHA Nationals Elite 15s program.”

The Pistons would like to welcome Ty and his family to the organization!
