Pistons Raise $6,000 for Movember

The Pistons capped off raising money for Movember, and presented their money to Canadian Cancer Society last week.

Captain Tyson McConnell, Declan Graham, Evan Kaufman, Curtis Ireland, and Head Coach and General Manager Paul Dyck presented a cheque to Colette Toews of the CCS last Thursday here at the TG Smith Centre.

The Pistons held two fundraising events during November; the Movember game on November 13th, and the players chipped in by raising money online. In total, the jersey auction raised $4,498.56 back, and the players raised $1,540 which will also go to Canadian Cancer Society.

Thanks to all who donated to the cause last month as we continue the fight against cancer.

For those who purchase our Movember jerseys on November 13th, if you would like a tax receipt for those jerseys please email Lucas Pappel, Pistons Sales and Marketing Manager, at [email protected].
