Pistons sent off in style with community party

The Steinbach Pistons players, coaches, and team personnel got the chance to connect with their fans and the community one last time before heading to Chilliwack, BC on Friday for the RBC Cup.

The party was put together with the help of Earl’s Meat Market, the Lumberzone, and Sobey’s. Fans of all ages from Steinbach and beyond came out to send off the Pistons with a barbecue party and a chance to wish them good luck in the national championship.

The Pistons’ first game of the tournament is Sunday at 4:00 pm local time when they take on the Wenatchee Wild.
