After holding down the top spot in the CJHL’s top 20 rankings for four consecutive weeks the Steinbach Pistons were bumped down to 2nd after two consecutive loses to the OCN Blizzard this past Saturday and Sunday.
The Pistons ventured out this past Friday for their annual northern road trip that saw the team play the Swan Valley Stampeders Friday night, and then back-to-back games in The Pas versus the OCN Blizzard.
The Pistons edged Stampeders 4-3 and then came up short in a 2-1 overtime loss and a 2-1 regulation loss to the Blizzard. The two wins bumps OCN into the top twenty rankings this week.
