Pistons Thank Quinton Pepper

The Steinbach Pistons would like to thank and congratulate Quinton Pepper on an amazing junior hockey career as he will be opting out of his final season to play for the University of St. Thomas Men’s Hockey Program for next season.

Quinton started his junior hockey with the St. Marys Lincolns in the GOJHL. In 2018/2019 Quinton had 20 points (8 goals and 12 assists) in 48 games. The following season Quinton would split the season with the St. Marys Lincolns and the St. Thomas Stars where he had 25 points (11 goals and 14 assists) in 47 games. Quinton would make the move to the MJHL for the start of the 2020/2021 season with the Steinbach Pistons. Due to the season being shortened by Covid Quinton only played 8 games where he had 5 points (1 goal and 4 assists). Quinton’s first full season with the Pistons was this past season where he had 55 points (30 goals and 25 assists) in 42 games. Quinton was also a big part of Steinbach’s deep playoff run where he had 20 points (8 goals and 12 assists) in 18 games.

“My time in Steinbach were some of the best years of my life” Quinton stated looking back on his time in Steinbach. “Although we were cut short in the 2020 season, we were able to come back and go on a great run this past season where I made friendships and memories that I will never forget.”

Quinton was a big part of the Pistons on and off the ice. Quinton led by example with his play and skill level resulting in lots of success for the team. He was also a part of the leadership group this season as he was an alternate captain. Whether it be in the locker room or on the ice, Quinton was a leader on the team and someone the guys could look up to. You will be missed around the rink, and we wish you all the best at the University of St. Thomas next season!
