Pistons Thank this Year’s Graduating Class

The Steinbach Pistons want to again thank their graduating players for all their hard work on the ice and in the community over their tenure with the team. 

The following 10 players have been great examples on what it means to be a Steinbach Pistons player with Character, Leadership and Integrity. These individuals are always welcome back to the T.G. Smith Centre on Game Day. 

Anthony Kapelke – Defenseman #25 – Traded to the Pistons from the Humboldt Broncos in January. Kapelke played in 13 regular season games for the team.

Robert Briem – Forward #68 – Traded to the Pistons back in November from the Waywayseecappo Wolverines. Briem played in 26 regular season games for the team. 

Quintin Lisoway – Forward #16 – Was with the Pistons on and off and his shifted between Major Junior hockey and the Pistons over his junior career. Played in 53 regular season games for the team. 

Eddie Eades – Defenseman #20 – Acquired at the start of the season, traveling from East Grand Forks, Minnesota to play in Steinbach. Played 57 regular season games for the team.

Cole Smith – Forward #6 – Acquired at the beginning of the 2014-2015 season. From Brainerd, Minnesota. Played 92 regular season games for the team. 

Connor Martin – Defenseman #23 – Acquired at the beginning of the 2014-2015 season. From Owantonna, Minnesota. Played in 106 regular season games for the Pistons.

Tyler Penner – Forward # 12 – Played his first game during in the second round of the playoffs during the Pistons 2013-2014 Championship run. From Winnipeg, Manitoba. Played in 168 regular season games for the team. 

Denis Bosc – Forward #77 – The Pistons 1st overall pick in the MJHL Bantam Draft in 2010. From Dufresne, Manitoba. Played in 169 regular season games for the team. 

Hayden Goderis – Forward #15 – Started is junior career as a rookie with the Pistons back in 2013-2014. From Winnipeg, Manitoba. Played in 233 regular season games with the team. 

Daniel Taillefer – Froward #10 – Started is junior career as a 16 year-old with the Pistons back in 2011-2012 and played almost every regular season game possible while with the team over the past five years. From La Broqerie, Manitoba. Played 298 regular season games with the team.
