Rogers Commits to St. Cloud State

The Steinbach Pistons are proud to announce the commitment of Jack Rogers to the NCAA Division 1 St. Cloud State Huskies men’s hockey program. Jack Rogers will be joining the Huskies in the fall of 2023.

This 2021-2022 season is Jack Rogers first season with the Steinbach Pistons. Right away Rogers has made an impact for the Pistons as he has amassed 12 points (5 goals and 7 assists) in 16 games. With a diverse game Jack has great offensive ability but also energy and grit to his game.

“Jack has come in and immediately made an impact” Head Coach & GM Paul Dyck commented. “He plays with pace and tenacity, has a good skill set and adds an edge to his game that has made him hard to play against.” In commenting on Rogers hockey future, Dyck stated, “Jack has a lot of upside and we look forward to watching him continue down his development path. We are very excited for him and the opportunity he has earned.”

When asked about this opportunity to play at St. Cloud State Rogers stated, “It is an amazing opportunity for me to continue to develop as a player as well as compete for a national championship.”

Rogers commented on his time in Steinbach so far stating, “despite only being in Steinbach for a short period of time it was apparent from day one that this community loved hockey and loved the Pistons. Seeing fans on game day and supporters around the community makes it even more enjoyable for us players.”

“I have already seen improvements in my game through the short period that I have been in Steinbach. I cannot credit the coaching staff here in Steinbach enough” Rogers expressed about his hockey development here in Steinbach. “My goals are to continue to take it one day at a time and develop my game even further as well as win a championship with the Pistons organization.”

The Steinbach Pistons congratulates Jack on his commitment and wish him all the best in his hockey endeavours!
