Multiple Pistons were recognized for their play to start the MJHL season.
Bradley Schoonbaert received the RBC-MJHL Player of the Month for September/October. The third-year Piston forward has been on a tear to start the season, recording 33 points (15 goals, 18 assists) in 16 games this season.
Darby Gula picked up the Sherwood MJHL Defencemen of the Month award. The Steinbach native has had a month to remember, He registered 20 points (3 goals, 17 assists) in 16 games, and he has recently committed to playing at Bemidji State University of NCAA Division I next season.
Matt Radomsky was named a runner-up for the MGEU-MJHL Goaltender of the Month. The 18 year old has had a solid start to the season, registering a 2.67 GAA and two shutouts in 10 games played this year.
Austin Heidemann was named as a runner-up for IBAM Rookie of the Month. The 18 year old forward from Maple Grove, Minnesota has had 14 points (7 goals, 7 assists) in his initial season in the MJHL.
