Smiles All Around During 2nd Annual Family Skate

The Steinbach Pistons hosted their 2nd annual Family Skate following their matinee 2:30 pm game on Louie Riel day.

There were close to 1300 fans packed into the T.G. Smith Centre, which only has 840 seats with a maximum capacity of 1450 fans on Game Day.

And then over 100 of those fans stuck around following the game to take advantage of free ice to lace up their skates along side the Steinbach Pistons.

There were a few new bruises and a sore foot or two after squishing into skates for the first time of the year. But there were way more smiles, laughs and pictures being taken.

And every fan that stuck around after the event received a free bag of La Cocina Chips courtesy of the day’s Game Day Sponsor La Cocina Foods.

Thanks to all the fans who showed up to make it a special event for our organization.
