Updated Policies For Attending Pistons Home Games

As the start of the 2021-22 season quickly approaches, we wanted to bring clarity as to what can be expected when entering the T.G Smith Centre for a Pistons game, starting this Friday, September 3rd.

As per the Manitoba Public Health’s latest announcement, all spectators and volunteers must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination upon entry to the building. Further to that, MJHL staff, players and officials are also all required to be fully vaccinated as well.

Prior to having your ticket scanned, our volunteers will be scanning your QR codes/vaccination cards as you enter the doors. Children who are not eligible to be vaccinated, may attend games, permitted they are with a guardian who is fully vaccinated.

Additionally, face masks are also required to be worn within the facility at all times.

Should these requirements change your plans regarding your season tickets, please let the Pistons know and we will issue you a refund for any funds paid this year. At this time, choosing to opt out of your seats for the 2021-22 season, will have no effect on your previous seats you may have had prior to the pandemic.

If you already have, or plan to, renew your seats this season, you will return to the original seats you had prior to last season. Ticket pickup will likely be sometime during the week leading up to the home opener. An email will be sent out once your tickets are ready. Should you want your seats to be moved, submit your request to [email protected] and we will attempt to accommodate once the renewal process is complete, but there are no guarantees your request can be fulfilled.

The Pistons have 2 home exhibition games coming up on Friday September 3rd and Saturday September 11th . Any season ticket holders who have already renewed their seats for this upcoming season, are welcome to attend these games free of charge. However, exhibition games will be rush seating so you will not be guaranteed your usual seats.

Tickets for these games will be $10 for adults, $5 for students aged 6-17, and children 5 and under get in free.

The Pistons home opener is on Saturday September 18th and we look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible cheering on your Steinbach Pistons, as we make this long-awaited return to the ice. Details on home opener festivities will be revealed as the date approaches.

We’re coming back #FullThrottle, join us for the ride!
