Worrad named Gold-N-Memories Player of the Month

The Steinbach Pistons, along with Gold-N-Memories, have selected centre Drew Worrad as their Player of the Month for January.

In his first season in the MJHL, Worrad is having immense success. The Birr, Ontario native scored 19 points (5 G, 14 A) in 10 games in January while helping the Pistons go 8-1-1 in the month.

He has rocketed up to 3rd place amongst all MJHL scorers with 70 points in just 43 games. He is currently tied with linemate Bradley Schoonbaert for the best points per game average this season (1.63 pts/G).

Worrad was presented the award before the Pistons home game on February 9th against the Neepawa Natives by Gold-N-Memories representative Andy Schinkel.
