Inaugural Pistons Kids Club Kick-Off Event a Success

The first-ever Steinbach Pistons Kids Club had their initial kick-off event prior to last Saturday’s game against the Waywayseecappo Wolverines.

An approximate total of 30 kids and their parents were on hand to receive many gifts and prizes, including free Piston player cards, souvenir, game schedules, Timbits and hot chocolate from Tim Horton’s, a Slushie coupon from 1st Choice Convenience Store, and a meet and greet with the Pistons mascot Clutch. The kids also got to take part in a coloring competition, and a hockey card guessing game as well. And they took in Saturday’s game for free as well.

Kids Club Director Don Dewey called the inaugural event a success. “I personally want to thank the Pistons organization for the opportunity to start this type of endeavour,” he said.

Currently, the Kids Club has 38 members, and it’s not too late to join. Ages 13 and younger can still be a part of this amazing opportunity. For more information, please contact Dewey at 204-380-4435.
