HEAD COACH AND GENERAL MANAGER - PAUL DYCK

A two-time MJHL Coach of the Year and finalist for 2017 CJHL Coach of the Year, Paul has been involved with the Steinbach Pistons since the 2010/11 season, where he was brought aboard as Assistant Coach and the Director of Sales and Marketing. He was promoted to Interim Head Coach/GM in December 2011, and was named the second Head Coach/GM in franchise history in the summer of 2012.
He played his junior years with the Dauphin Kings in the MJHL and the Moose Jaw Warriors of the WHL. Paul was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1991 NHL Draft, and spent the next 15 years playing pro hockey across the globe. He won an IHL title with the Houston Aeros in 1999, and won a DEL championship in Germany with the Krefeld Penguine to advance to the Spengler Cup in 2003.
Under Paul’s leadership, the Pistons have posted a 386-139-39 record and have captured two Turnbull Cup championships in 2013 and 2018, the 2018 ANAVET CUP, and advanced to the 2018 RBC Cup in Chilliwack, B.C. The Pistons have seen 28 NCAA Division I commitments under his guidance and have seen around 95 former players move onto a higher level of hockey over the past few years.
Paul has also coached on the national stage, serving as a guest coach and evaluator for Team Canada West from 2013-15, 2016-17, and 2019. He won a gold medal as an Assistant Coach with TCW at the 2015 World Junior A Challenge. In addition, he was the Head Coach for Team West at the 2015 CJHL Top Prospects Game. Paul holds the MJHL record for the fastest coach to win 250 career games, doing so in just 376 games.
ASSISTANT COACH - CALVIN BUGYIK

Calvin joined the Steinbach Pistons as Assistant Coach in the summer of 2018 after a decorated coaching tenure in Manitoba U-18 hockey. With Calvin on staff the Pistons have a record of 128-37-16. He played two years of junior ‘A’ hockey as a goaltender with the SJHL’s Melfort Mustangs from 1999-2001.
Along with working on the farm, Calvin has coached hockey in various levels across the province in the past decade. He was the assistant and head coach of the Hockey Manitoba Directors Cup Prospects team, and held the same roles the Eastman City Selects of the Winnipeg City U-17 Prep League.
From there, he was the head coach of the Eastman Selects of the Manitoba AAA U-18 Hockey League from 2013-16 and guided them to a sparkling 93-28-11 record during that span. And during 2016-18, he was the assistant coach of the Winnipeg Wild and helped guide them to two Manitoba U-18 titles.
VIDEO COACH - GRAHAM POLLOCK

Graham is currently the longest serving member of the Steinbach Pistons’ coaching staff, spending time with the club from 2009 to 2011, and 2012 to present day. He has coached many different levels of hockey over the past 40 years, many of which came while also serving as a member of the RCMP for 38 years.
When he’s not at the rink, chasing his grandkids around, or relaxing at home with his dogs, Graham currently serves as the Board Chair for the Steinbach Arts Council and runs the annual Summer in the City festival in Steinbach every June.
GOALIE COACH - GUY ST. VINCENT
Guy joined the Pistons in the summer of 2019 as the team's Goalie Coach. Since Guy joined the Pistons staff, Pistons goaltenders have allowed the least amount of goals in the MJHL. He spent his junior days manning the crease with the Winkler Flyers and Southeast Blades from 2001-03, and then had a seven-year pro career playing for nine different American teams in the Central Hockey League (CHL) and the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL).
After his pro career ended, Guy returned to his hometown of Ste. Anne and currently runs his own goaltending school named Top Shelf Goaltending. He also recently invented an innovative piece of goalie equipment named ‘Blok’, which is a piece of rubber that fits onto a goal stick to prevent finger and hand injuries caused by pucks hitting the area. His product is currently being tested by different NHL goaltenders and teams.
SKILLS DEVELOPMENT COACH - J.P. VIGIER
J.P. was brought aboard as Skills Development Coach in July 2019. He has a notable hockey resume to his name, playing for the Portage Terriers from 1994-96 and then spending four years from 1996-2000 at NCAA Div I Northern Michigan University where he accumulated 61 goals and 125 points in 161 career collegiate games.
He turned pro in 2000 and had a 12 year playing career which included seven seasons with the Atlanta Thrashers organization and five seasons playing in Switzerland. He played five times for Team Canada at the Spengler Cup, winning the tournament in 2008.
Vigier returned to Manitoba after his playing career and currently runs Vigier Hockey, a year-round skills development program out of Winnipeg.
ATHLETIC TRAINER - JEFF EIDSE

Jeff has been with the Pistons since the 2016-17 season as Head Trainer. Prior to joining the organization, he worked with the Eastman Selects program for 6 years in various strength and conditioning positions for all of their teams.
In addition to being with the Pistons, Jeff currently owns and operates Sweaty Training and Conditioning; the only semi-private, high performance training centre in Southeastern Manitoba.
DIRECTOR OF SALES AND MARKETING - JAMIE ROY

Jamie joined the Pistons as Director of Sales and Marketing at the beginning of May 2020. He has been heavily involved with the club's game day operations staff, serving as the public address announcer since 2016. Previously, he spent two years with Golden West Broadcasting as a news reporter, connecting with various people and businesses around Southeast Manitoba.
Outside of the rink, he is an avid golfer and frequently competes in Golf Manitoba events around the province. Jamie captured the 2019 Manitoba Rural Amateur Championship and is back to back club champion of Quarry Oaks Golf Course in 2021 & 2022. Sources say his game is ready for a 3-peat. Stay tuned.
MEDIA/MARKETING - SPENCER ENNS

Spencer joined the organization in September of 2021. He is a communications/media student in a joint program between the University of Winnipeg and Red River College in Winnipeg. Victoria, British-Columbia is home for Spencer but his family is originally from Steinbach.
Spencer has a strong passion for junior hockey which makes him the perfect guy for the role. He is responsible for writing all of the articles you see on the Pistons website. Spencer also takes care of the posts you see on all Pistons social media accounts as well as making sure game days run smoothly in the T.G. Smith Centre.
LEADERSHIP/EDUCATION ADVISOR - LOUIS COTE
Louis has been involved in the Pistons organization as the Education/Leadership Advisor since the 2014-15 season, helping the players develop on and off-ice goals and setting them up for success in the classroom.
TEAM CHAPLAIN - MIKE KEHLER
Mike has been involved with the Pistons since day one as their team chaplain. He currently works with Youth for Christ in Steinbach as well as FCA Huddles, forming relationships with hockey players from all across southern Manitoba.
He also coordinates many different volunteer opportunities for Pistons players to participate in.
