The Steinbach Pistons, along with Gold-n-Memories, selected Will Koop as the Pistons Player of the Month for February.
Koop had a solid final month of the regular season for Steinbach, registering 10 points in 12 games in February. The Winnipeg native also had a career night on February 24th against the Dauphin Kings, when he scored a career-high 4 goals in the game.
The Winnipeg native has enjoyed a career year in his second year with the Pistons, posting 27 goals and 32 assists for 59 points this season. During the first round series with Swan Valley, Koop posted 1 goal and 4 assists in 4 games.
Koop was presented the award before Game #1 vs the Swan Valley Stampeders back on March 9th by Gold-n-Memories representative Andy Schinkel.
