Steinbach Pistons forward Carter Loney has been listed amongst some of the top prospects on the NHL Central Scouting’s Mid-Term Rankings report.
Loney has been ranked #198 amongst all North American Skaters for the upcoming 2020 NHL Entry Draft in Montreal. The 17-year-old from Winnipeg has had a wonderful first junior season, currently putting up 12 goals and 30 points in 34 games played.
The University of Minnesota-Duluth commit also suited up for Team Canada West at the 2019 World Junior A Challenge in Dawson Creek, B.C. and was also selected to play for Team West at the 2020 CJHL Top Prospects Game tomorrow night in Hamilton, Ontario.
Carter Savoie of the Sherwood Park Crusaders in the Alberta Junior Hockey League has been ranked as the top CJHL player at #52 amongst North American Skaters.
