Accolades Continue For Pistons’ Hoffman & Plowman

Congratulations to Pistons goaltender Cole Plowman who was named an MJHL Star of the Week. 2GP | 2W | 1.00GAA | .970SV% | 1SO

Another strong performance over the weekend earns Cole Plowman a star of the week honour. In a 5-2 win over the Blizzard, Plowman turned aside 36/38 shots before he stopped all 29 shots in a 2-0 shutout win over the MGEU West Division leading Virden Oil Capitals. The veteran goaltender leads the MJHL in wins (24), goals against average (1.88) and save percentage (.933).

Congratulations are also in order for Pistons forward Grady Hoffman who was named the MJHL Rookie of the Month for January. 10GP | 5G | 6A | 11PTS

The rookie sniper for the Pistons enjoyed another solid month, hitting the 23-goal mark on the season in the process. Grady Hoffman put together back-to-back, 3-point performances (2G-1A) in wins over Niverville and Neepawa where he scored the game winner. Hoffman leads all rookies in scoring with 23 goals and 16 assists and is 3rd overall in the league in goals scored. The Pistons also earned their second 11-game win streak of the season over the month of January.
