Bettens Commits to the University of Minnesota – Duluth

The Steinbach Pistons are proud to announce the commitment of Kyle Bettens to the NCAA Division 1 University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs hockey program.

Kyle played with the Pistons for 2 seasons where he got 88 points (28 goals and 60 assists) in 92 games. As a 16-year-old when he was called up as an AP Kyle got 3 assists in the game, making an impact right away. In his last season with the Pistons Kyle got 56 points in 49 games and was the team’s leading scorer.

After the 2019-2020 season Kyle headed south to the USA to play for the Omaha Lancers in the USHL. Currently Kyle is finishing up his junior career with the Youngstown Phantoms in the USHL.

The Steinbach Pistons congratulate Kyle on his commitment and wish him all the best as he continues his hockey career.
