Creative Audio Tees Off With the Pistons

The Steinbach Pistons are excited to announce that Creative Audio will be the title sponsor for the annual Celebrity Golf Tournament coming up Tuesday, August 25th at Quarry Oaks.  “Creative Audio is thrilled to partner with the Steinbach Pistons,” said owners Jeff Friesen and Jeff Kowerchuk, who co-own the company that specializes in the sale and installation of home audio, video and automation systems. “We are very proud to have the opportunity to give back to a community that has been tremendously loyal to us over our 37 years in business,” Kowerchuk said. “Creative Audio is driven by passion and so naturally we find the Steinbach Pistons organization to be a natural fit. We’ll see you on the links!” The tournament is filling up fast, but there is still space to be a sponsor of a hole or to golf alongside local and provincial celebrities. In the past, the tournament has seen Claude Noel (Winnipeg Jets Head Coach), Jeff Stoughton (Olympic Gold Medal Curler), Ian White (NHL Defenseman) and many more attend. Don’t miss out on another great event that sees over 200 golfers pack out Quarry Oaks.   Register your team by emailing [email protected] The Day consists of a light breakfast of muffins and coffee courtesy of Tim Hortons, followed by lunch and then capped off with an awards dinner. Hockey In The City is Back – Register Today!

Get ready to bring life back into the T.G. Smith Centre when the building plays host to this year’s annual ‘Hockey In the City’ ball hockey tournament June 21st. It’s hard to believe that it has almost been a month since the Steinbach Pistons last played in downtown Steinbach. However, that means that we are almost a month away from hosting the biggest ball hockey tournament in southeastern Manitoba. Last year over 100 kids signed up for Hockey in the City, giving kids the chance to play organized ball hockey along with meeting the Steinbach Pistons in the process. This year the tournament will be taking advantage of the extra day added by the Summer In the City Festival. The 4-on-4 event will be held on Sunday this year with registration starting at noon and then hockey running from 1-5 in the afternoon. It’s a fun low key tournament giving kids who play ice-hockey or not, the opportunity to play with friends alongside the Steinbach Pistons. The cost is $15/per player and the registration deadline is June 5th. Register your team of a minimum of four to a maximum of seven players at the Summer In The City website.
