Compass Coach Lines Road Report – Dec 10 @ Neepawa Titans

The Pistons are back on the road as they continue one of the busiest stretches of games of the season. The Pistons lost a tight one in Virden on Thursday night in overtime then bounced back for a big 6-1 home win on Friday night versus the Portage Terriers.

The Pistons are off to Neepawa on Sunday to face the Titans before a stretch of 3 home games in 4 days starting on Wednesday.

After dropping two straight for the first time this season, the Pistons turned right around by beating the Terriers by a sizable margin. The Pistons came out with some jump scoring their first less than a minute into the game. The Pistons will definitely be looking for a similar type of start at the Yellowhead Centre.

This will be the second time these two teams meet this season. The first was at the MJHL showcase back in October where the Pistons came out with the 5-1 win.

The Titans are coming off two wins in a row. The most recent was a 4-3 win over the Waywayseecappo Wolverines on  Tuesday. This puts the Titans 7 points above the Wolverines in the west division standings who now sit in a playoff spot in 4th place.

Pistons: Leo Chambers

The Pistons captain leads not only his team but leads the league in assists and is tied for first in the MJHL points race at 33. Leo leads by example by working hard every shift and gets rewarded for playing the right way by finding his way onto the scoresheet. A productive night on Sunday could get him in solo first in the MJHL.

Titans: Carter McLeod

With 12 goals and 13 assists for far this season, McLeod leads his team in scoring and sits 15th in the MJHL. The 19 year old forward will look to use the home ice to his advantage on Sunday night as the Titans look to make it  3 wins in a row.

Puck drop at the Yellowhead Centre is at 6:30pm. Catch the game on  Flo Hockey or listen to voice of the Pistons Dave Anthony over at DAbroadcasting.mixlr.com.
