Compass Coach Lines Road Report – Sunday Dec 3 vs Terriers

After extending their streak to 10 straight wins on Saturday night versus the Dauphin Kings, the Pistons are back at it on Sunday as they head over to Stride place to face the Terriers.

The Pistons beat the Kings 4-1 on home ice but it wasn’t a regular home game. It was more of a neutral site game. The game was played at the Wayne Fleming Arena at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg where Steinbach brought out an energetic crowd of nearly a thousand.

The Pistons keep opened the scoring in the first, then took a bit of a back seat for a portion of the second. The team rebounded in the third scoring some timely goals by showing resiliency and just finding ways to win games in different ways.

Tonight will be a test as the Terriers will look to take down the Pistons for the first time this season especially on home ice. The Terriers who have been up and down as of late, beat the Wolverines on Friday night at Stride Place but lost to the Titans last Sunday.

Pistons rookie forward Dawson McCann comes into the lineup as a defenseman tonight following a Chad Cote injury on Saturday. Both of Steinbach’s newest players, Kyle Kudurna and Cole Cairns will hit the ice tonight. It will be interesting to see the chemistry develop between these two who are slated to play on a line together with Wyatt Mattfield.
