Pistons Clinch Playoff Spot with 1-0 Win

The Steinbach Pistons became the third team in the MJHL to clinch a spot in the 2019 MJHL Playoffs, as Matt Radomsky made 29 saves for his MJHL leading 6th shutout of the season in a 1-0 win over Neepawa Wednesday night.

Riley Vautour scored the lone goal of the hockey game at the 5:19 mark of the second period, as he rifled home a one-timer from Brendan Martin. Nico Labossiere had the other assist on Vautour’s second goal with the Pistons, and 11th of the season.

Natives goalie Nik Anderson kept his team in it all night long making 37 saves.

Wednesday’s game also saw a rare feat for Steinbach, as the Pistons took no penalties in the game for a good clean effort.
