The Steinbach Pistons ranked 3rd in the CJHL this week with a 17-2-1 record, moving down one place from last week’s 2nd place rank.
Steinbach played two games this past week, defeating the Neepawa Natives 4-1 and then losing 5-1 to the Selkirk Steelers on the road on Friday.
The Pistons had a rare weekend without games as the team made a special trip to University of North Dakota to meet UND’s Head Coach Brad Berry along with catching up with former Pistons forward Cole Smith. The team also had the opportunity to tour the Ralph Engelstad and skate at the Ralph Engelstad arena.
The Pistons are busy this week hosting the Neepawa Natives on Wednesday, OCN Blizzard on Friday and then the Winnipeg Blues on Saturday.
