Pistons Thank Graduating Player Zac Patrick

The Steinbach Pistons would like to thank and congratulate Zac Patrick on an incredible Junior Hockey career.

Zac split his junior hockey career between the WHL and the MJHL. Starting his junior career in 2017/2018, Zac amassed 6 points (0 goals and 6 assists) in 42 games with the Kootenay Ice. Zac would play one more season for the Ice, getting 7 points (2 goals and 5 assists) in 53 games. Zac would eventually make the move to the MJHL for the 2019/2020 season with the Portage Terriers. In that coming offseason Zac would be traded to the Steinbach Pistons for the start of the 2020/2021 season. Zac went on to play 54 regular season games over two seasons for the Pistons where he had 37 points (10 goals and 27 assists) and 14 playoffs games where he had 12 points (1 goal and 11 assists).

Zac was an integral part of the Steinbach Pistons this year, leading the team leadership group as team Captain this past season and a major part of the defensive core. Zac exemplified great character on and off the ice living out the Pistons motto of “Character, Leadership and Integrity”. Zac was a player the other guys could look to for guidance, leading the team through the highs and lows of the season. Zac has definitely left his mark in Steinbach and on the organization and will be missed. The Steinbach Pistons organization wishes you all the best in your future hockey endeavours!
