Pistons Defenseman Noah Szabo has been named the Steinbach Pistons & Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries player of the month for December.
The 19-year-old defenseman from St. Thomas, Ontario put up 2 goals and 6 assists for a total of 8 points in 9 games played throughout the month. He also played a significant amount of minutes while the Pistons battled the injury bug. Steinbach played the last their last 3 or so games with 4-5 defenseman. One of which Pistons forward Dawson McCann. All this to say, Szabo certainly earned his Christmas break as well as the player of the month honours.
Most notably, Noah also secured his NCAA Division 1 commitment in December to the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
