Pistons Take On Men’s Health During ‘Movember’

The Steinbach Pistons are once again joining the fight to support men’s health during the month of November.

The Pistons’ players will each be raising money this ‘Movember’ to support the fight against prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health awareness by growing moustaches. The team raised $2,700 for the Canadian Cancer Society a season ago, and are looking to do things a bit different this time around.

Three brand-new 2020 special edition Pistons Movember jerseys have been created and fans will have a chance to receive a jersey. The only way you’ll get this opportunity is to donate to the team’s Movember page.

One will go to the largest donor at the Pistons Movember page, one will be given to the player that has raised the largest amount, and the last will be given to a random donor who has gifted to the team’s cause.

This unique jersey, designed by Tyson Kehler at Fifth Corner Graphic Design, features the ‘Automobile City’ logo from the Pistons’ new third jersey, but with a moustache on the grill of the car. The sleeves and shoulders feature stripes with our current team colours to create a uniform that is unlike all of it predecessors.

Thanks once again to Clearview Co-op for sponsoring our Movember jerseys during the 2020-21 season.
