Warren Clark Drafted 179th By Tampa Bay Lightning

It was a big Thursday afternoon for the Pistons organization as Pistons defenseman, Warren Clark has been selected 179th overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2023 NHL Draft.

The 2004-born defender had a standout season on the Pistons blueline where he scored 6 goals and 32 assists in 55 games as a rookie. In the playoffs, Clark recorded 1 goal and 7 assists in 18 games on his way to help the Pistons capture their 3rd Turnbull Trophy in franchise history.

During November of last season, Clark made his commitment to play NCAA Division 1 hockey at St. Cloud State for the 2023-24 season where he will begin his freshman season for the Huskies.
